Confirm acceptance, the current warehouse details and the matching procedure before asking a seller to dispatch goods you bought yourself.
This checklist concerns inbound forwarding after an independent purchase. The beginner guide covers agent purchasing, and the consolidation article compares outgoing parcel quotes.
Understand who made the purchase
CSSBuy’s public Ship For Me page describes buying items yourself and sending them to its warehouse for collection and onward shipping. Its process includes obtaining the warehouse address and submitting item information. That differs from asking an agent to place the seller order for you.
When you buy independently, preserve the seller order, selected options, payment record and seller conversation. The warehouse’s receipt of a parcel does not itself establish what the seller promised you. Do not assume that purchasing support, return handling or compensation conditions are identical across different service arrangements.

Resolve the inbound instructions before sending goods
Obtain the current receiving details through your own verified account or official support. Ask whether a customer identifier, advance item submission or other matching information is required and exactly where it belongs. Do not reuse a street address or account code from someone else’s screenshot. This article intentionally does not reproduce a warehouse address.
Confirm that the warehouse will accept the particular goods and that there is a suitable onward service for your destination before instructing the seller to ship. Describe unusual contents or handling needs accurately. An inbound delivery arrangement is not confirmation that the goods can later travel internationally.
- Provide the item description, quantity and seller-order information requested by the current process.
- Ask how to identify a parcel when the seller splits one purchase into multiple packages.
- Clarify any receiving or handling charges and when storage timing begins.
- Ask what evidence is needed if a delivered parcel cannot be matched to your account.
- Keep the official answer with the seller dispatch record.
Keep inbound and outbound records separate
The seller’s parcel travels to the warehouse; a later international parcel travels onward to you. Save the carrier and tracking reference for each stage with a clear label. A seller’s delivery event is not proof that an international parcel has been created, packed or handed to its carrier.
If a seller sends several packages, track which items are expected in each one. When the warehouse records receipt, reconcile the recorded quantity and identifiable items with the seller order before requesting onward packing. Report a mismatch privately with the relevant inbound evidence rather than substituting the international tracking reference.
| Stage | Keep together |
|---|---|
| Seller to warehouse | Seller order, item list, inbound carrier and tracking, dispatch date |
| Warehouse receipt | Receiving record, matched items and unresolved differences |
| Warehouse to recipient | Final contents, packing request, destination and outbound parcel reference |
Pause when a handoff is not confirmed
If the instructions, account matching or onward eligibility remain unclear, resolve that uncertainty before more goods leave the seller. Once goods are recorded, check the actual storage and decision deadlines attached to them. Use the separate deadline and consolidation articles for those next decisions rather than treating forwarding as an automatic end-to-end purchase guarantee.
